Moscow's alternative high school program moves into the renovated Russell building in August 2028 — gaining twice its current space and a permanent home the district owns outright.

The Short Version

Paradise Creek Regional High School has operated in a donated facility for nearly 25 years. A lease that began in 2024 at approximately $50,000 per year expires in June 2028 — the same month the Russell renovation is complete. Future Moscow gives PCRHS a permanent home on the first floor of the renovated Russell building, with significantly more space than it has today.

For nearly 25 years, Paradise Creek Regional High School operated in a facility generously donated by Dr. Gerry Weitz — a commitment to the program and the students it serves that the district deeply appreciates. A lease began in 2024 at approximately $50,000 per year, expiring in June 2028.

Russell School is district-owned, is already being renovated for other uses, and would provide substantially more classroom space for PCRHS.
